The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking to hire a Product Support Engineer Mid-Level (Maintenance) to join our Production Supply Chain Team at our Seattle, WA facility.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage parts pool configuration of available & applicable parts by program/model type
- Evaluate impact of service bulletins, mandatory changes, customer options, engineering change memos, part drawing changes and part interchangeability updates
- Make changes in Master Part Data Library (MPDL)
- Induct specific models into MPDL and understand model contract requirements related to parts configuration management
- Investigate and provide solutions to parts engineering related customer requests
- Draft, coordinate and manage customer Part Configuration Agreements (PCAs)
- Coordinate with other engineering groups, supplier management, program management, finance and other on-site Boeing support groups
- Communicate with suppliers and customers inside and outside of Boeing
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of related work experience with engineering requirements and processes
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years of experience in Production Configuration Management
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
- Experience working with suppliers and customers
- Experience with PDM, CAPP, REDARS, PSDS, IVT, WIRS, VELOCITY, ENOVIA, MyBoeingFleet, SRP, STEPS
