A day in the life of a Facilities & Space Planning Administrator…
- Assists with day-to-day tasks of coordinating facility maintenance, business unit moves, and minor construction as needed
- Coordinates and work directly with trade foremen, business unit coordinators, contractors, Project Managers and vendors for facility operations, business unit projects, and move related activities
- Procure, receive and review estimates from vendors and trade foremen
- Create and manage POs in SAP to support business unit requests and small projects
- Collect move data, create and maintain move books for all business unit moves
- Coordinate lot/building access for employees, visitors and vendors as needed to support moves and facilities projects
- Communicates clearly, professionally, and effectively with trade department foremen, business unit clients and Facilities Manager on tasks related to moves and business unit projects
- Develop, coordinate, and administer move and project schedules
- Assist and control field operation among trades foremen, inclusive of movers and technology support teams
- Physically inspects work completed to assess progress and quality on moves and business unit projects
- Coordinates with internal teams and clients to ensure efficient operations of all facility projects
- Assist in maintaining records and standards for moves and facilities projects
- Recognize safety as a priority in all tasks and projects
You will need these skills to be successful in the role…
- 2+ years of field experience working in a facilities/maintenance environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Clear and professional communication skills and the ability to multi-task and balance many different projects at one time
- Stay organized in a fast-paced environment and have a hands-on approach to all work and projects
- Work well with all teams and problem-solve throughout complex projects
- Flexible schedule to accommodate off hours/weekend moves required
It would be a plus if you had these skills…
- Experience in a Studio/Production environment preferred
- Building management/facilities experience is preferred and knowledge of systems furniture
- College degree in design, facility maintenance, or construction strongly preferred
- Disney experience

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $59,600 to $79,800 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job Posting Segment:
