Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Hertford, NC.
We are looking for an upbeat individual looking to grow and expand their skills in an apprentice type role. Position Responsibilities:
- General knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures
- With limited supervision, constructs commercial office space by providing overall construction capabilities
- Is familiar with building codes and is able to read more complex blueprints
- Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Repairs and maintains plant and office facilities equipment and demonstrates advanced skill level in these areas
- Is able to interpret basic schematics and diagrams
- May provide guidance to less experienced employees
- Under general guidance, reviews customer requirements and may evaluate product capabilities
- Has demonstrated ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipment
- May receive specialized equipment training
- May provide training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years’ experience with Customer Service
- 3+ years’ experience with Facilities, Maintenance or Construction
- Current valid driver’s license
- Capable of lifting 35lbs on a frequent basis
- Current North Carolina approved electrical license for residential and commercial power systems (OR) Current North Carolina approved HVAC license for residential and commercial HVAC systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools
- Welding experience

Summary pay range: $57,800 - $78,200
