The Account Sales Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, leading complex sales processes, and delivering technical solutions tailored to customer environments. This role requires strong technical understanding, stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate commercial, logistical, and financial considerations to create competitive proposals. You will support medium‑sized sales activities across a country or large territory.
As an Account Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing named customer accounts, with new account additions occurring only through review and approval
- Selling products and systems require strong technical knowledge and understanding of customer operating environments
- Leading complex sales cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Developing proposals that incorporate technical, economic, logistical, and financial considerations
- Managing diverse clients across a region and supporting medium‑sized sales opportunities
- Overseeing sales activities across a country or large territory
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in account sales
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- Have strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
- Show the ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively
- Demonstrate experience leading programs or projects
- Have strong planning, documentation, and project management skills
