Job Description: Zscaler Engineer (ZIA/ZPA,ZDX,DLP)

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler ZIA and ZPA solutions.

Configure and maintain URL filtering, SSL inspection, firewall, bandwidth control, DLP, CASB, Cloud Sandbox, and other Zscaler policies.

Integrate Zscaler with Active Directory, IdPs (Okta/Azure AD), and SIEM platforms.

Troubleshoot traffic flow, authentication, connector issues, GRE/IPsec tunnels, PAC files, and performance problems.

Manage Zscaler App (Zscaler Client Connector) deployment and policies.

Monitor logs, alerts, and events using Zscaler Admin Portal and associated tools.

Work closely with the network and security teams on architecture, optimization, and incident resolution.

Perform upgrades, platform tuning, and best-practices hardening.

Document processes, policies, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA (minimum 12 years).

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, HTTP/HTTPS, proxies, firewalls.

Familiarity with identity integrations (SAML, SSO, LDAP, OAuth).

Experience with enterprise network infrastructure (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).

Ability to troubleshoot complex network and cloud-security issues.

Strong analytical and documentation skills

Education

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Certifications such as:

Zscaler Certified Administrator (ZCA)

Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP)

ZCCA-IA / ZCCA-PA

Zscaler engineer
