Job Title - Workday System Administrator (HCM & Absence)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• HCM Configuration: Maintain core HCM setup including job profiles, positions, supervisory organisations, and business processes. Work closely with HRBPs to ensure organisational structures and workflows reflect business requirements.
• Absence Management: Configure and manage time-off plans, leave types, accruals, and eligibility rules. Partner with our P&C Advisory team to align absence policies with local legislation and company standards.
• Core Compensation: Configure and maintain compensation structures including salary plans, allowances, and compensation grids. Ensure accurate eligibility rules and compliance with firm policies.
• HRBP and P&C Advisory Collaboration: Act as the primary system liaison for HRBPs and P&C Advisory team, supporting them with configuration queries, reporting needs, and troubleshooting. Provide guidance on system capabilities to enable HRBPs and P&C Advisory to deliver effective workforce solutions.
• System Maintenance: Implement new features during Workday releases; manage tenant setup and regression testing for HCM and Absence modules.
• Integration & Data Management: Support integrations between Workday and external systems (e.g., background checks provider). Perform data audits and validations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards for HCM and Absence analytics. Collaborate with HRBPs to provide actionable insights for workforce planning and decision-making.
• Testing & Compliance: Develop and execute test plans for configuration changes and enhancements. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
• Issue Resolution & Support: Provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues and resolve configuration-related problems. Act as a subject matter expert for HCM and Absence modules and liaise with Application Managed Services where necessary.
• Documentation & Training: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, and processes. Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to HRBPs and other stakeholders on system functionality.

Person Specification

Experience:

• 38 years of experience in Workday system administration with a focus on HCM and Absence modules.
• Experience with Workday implementation projects and/or Workday Pro certification would be preferred
• Hands-on experience with Workday business process design and configuration.
• Strong experience collaborating with HRBPs to deliver system solutions.
• Familiarity with integrations and data migration in Workday.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in HR, IT, or related field.
• Workday HCM or Absence Certification (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Workday tools: EIB, Calculated Fields, Workday Studio (nice to have).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate with integrity and manage confidential data and ensure compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
