About the Role
We are part of a dynamic and rapidly evolving technology environment, driving innovation within the data storage industry. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workday Analyst to join our HR Technology team and play a key role in enhancing and optimizing our Workday platform.
This role focuses on Time & Absence and Core HCM, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-friendly HR solutions while contributing to the overall HR technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Configuration & Development
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Time & Absence
- Design, configure, and implement solutions including:
- Time Tracking
- Absence Plans
- Accruals and Eligibility Rules
- Configure and enhance:
- Business Processes
- Calculated Fields
- Condition Rules
- Reports and Dashboards
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into effective system configurations
- Drive process improvements by automating workflows and enhancing usability
- Ensure seamless integration across Time & Absence, Core HCM, Payroll, and other modules
System Support & Enhancements
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues such as:
- Accrual discrepancies
- Leave calculation errors
- Time tracking issues
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards
- Participate in Workday releases; evaluate new features and recommend improvements
- Manage and resolve tickets via ServiceNow HRSD, ensuring SLA adherence
- Collaborate using Jira and maintain documentation in Confluence
Collaboration & Training
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders
- Provide end-user training and maintain knowledge documentation
- Act as SME for Core HCM functionality
- Collaborate with global teams, including US stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with strong focus on Time & Absence
- Deep expertise in:
- Workday configuration (business processes, calculated fields, reporting)
- Time tracking, accruals, and absence management
- Experience gathering requirements and delivering scalable solutions
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as ServiceNow and Jira
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work with global teams across time zones (including late IST hours)
