Job Description:


Must have skills :

  • Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2022
  • Active Directory Administration
  • DNS, DHCP
  • Group Policy Management
  • Server Monitoring (CPU, Memory, Disk, Availability)
  • Incident / Change / Request Management
  • Backup & Restore (OS & Active Directory)
  • Windows Server Administration



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 47 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server & Active Directory administration.
  • Strong experience handling L2-level server and AD support operations.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in AD Replication management and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of centralized patch management tools.
  • Exposure to OEM/vendor coordination for hardware-related issues.
  • Understanding of enterprise security policies and compliance standards.
  • Ability to perform system performance tuning and capacity management.



Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2022) .
  • Manage Active Directory , including user, group, OU management, and replication.
  • Configure and support DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, NFS, NIS .
  • Create, modify, and delete network shares and manage permissions.
  • Assign and maintain user access rights as per defined security policies.
  • Monitor server health (CPU, memory, disk, availability) and perform performance tuning.
  • Manage and maintain print servers and print queues .
  • Perform backup and restore operations for OS and Active Directory.
  • Restore servers in case of system crash using customer-approved backup tools.
  • Handle incidents related to system hang, disk failures, and coordinate with OEM support.
  • Apply OS patches via centralized patch management tools or manually when required.
  • Participate in Incident, Request Fulfilment, and Change Management processes.
  • Ensure adherence to security policies for user-level access and system hardening.
