Web Developer

The Sustainable Capital Research Foundation (SCRF) is a leading global research and action organization dedicated to transforming financial systems for sustainability, resilience, and long-term value creation. Additionally, SCRF is the parent organization of the International Institute for Sustainable Finance (IISF), which focuses on sustainable finance education and professional development.

This is a full-time remote role for a Web Developer. The Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications to support SCRFs mission. The role involves developing both the front end and back end of web solutions, ensuring user-friendly experiences and efficient performance. Responsibilities include developing innovative web functionalities, optimizing sites for speed and scalability, debugging, and collaborating with the design, content, and research teams for seamless integration of web solutions.

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks and database management
• Strong skills in Front-End Development with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience in Web Development and Programming to create and maintain functional and robust websites
• Proficiency in Web Design, with a focus on creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with SEO principles is a plus
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent work experience
