VP Bid Management

Key responsibilities : Responsible for strengthening the bid management function, ensuring the successful delivery of high-value, complex bids to public sector clients worldwide.

• Strategic leadership/ stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate with leadership team to implement global bid strategy
• Provide strategic direction to the team on the end-to-end bid process
• Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders and SMEs across levels and departments/ functions
• Excellence in bid management
• Lead development of high quality, compelling bids for public sector clients ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and procurement frameworks
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of bids, managing resources, timelines effectively
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with bids, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all bid submissions, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism
• Drive continuous improvement in bid processes and templates to enhance efficiency and win rates
• Analyze win/loss data to identify areas for improvement in future proposals.
• Team leadership and development
• Use BLS standards for this level

Qualification and experience :

• BCA/ BTech or similar qualification with technology background (preferred)
• 25+ years of experience in public sector sales and presales functions, with 10+years in leadership positions in bid management
• Extensive knowledge of public sector procurement processes, including frameworks, regulations, and compliance requirements for bids in multiple geographies
• APMP certified at least at professional level (Association of Proposal Management Professionals (required ); PRINCE 2 or PMP certified (preferred)
