Experience range: 6 to 8 years (Relevant Experience)

Installation configuration and experience managing server using command lines.

Creation of Guest OS

Resource allocation ( CPU, memory, network, disk)

VMWare Server monitoring

VMware ESX Management and Troubleshooting.

Intermediate knowledge of Switching and vlan, NIC Teaming.

Experience in VMware Guests, Templates, P2V, Capacity Planner, VMotion, DRS, etc

Basic working knowledge of SAN.

Maintaining VMware Infra Backup

Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issues.

Patch administration and deployment.

VMware ESX /Vsphere support Experience

Excellent troubleshooting and System Administration skills on VMware products and tools

Knowledge on DRS and HA cluster environment.

OS / Patch Release management and maintain configuration of Central ESX OS image.

Problem Management on VMware ESX 4.1 & 5.0 and Virtual Center 4.1 & 5.0

Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers.

Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center

Good Understanding of virtualization technology.

Working experience on VMware Consolidated Backup, Update Manager, Enterprise Converter.

Working experience on Upgradation of ESX

Troubleshooting experience on ESX servers using Command Line is must.

VMware ESX Management, Patching and Troubleshooting.

Knowledge of Switching and vlan, NIC Teaming, Security policies.

Knowledge with FC SAN is essential. Added advantage knowledge on ISCSI, NAS

Experience in at least one backup tool

Able to work on Knowledge acquisition and update the related documents

Good communication
