At Social Innovation Studio, we apply Systems Thinking and Behavior Change theories to design and implement programs that drive effective and sustainable impact. By partnering with non-profit organizations, we analyze their programs through these lenses to create solutions that are effective & sustainable. We believe that impactful design goes beyond aestheticsit tells a story, conveys data, and connects people. We are looking for a talented visual designer who can bring our work to life through innovative and accessible design.

As our Visual Designer, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex ideas into clear and engaging visuals that resonate with diverse audiences. Working closely with our team, you will ensure that our work is not only visually appealing but also effectively communicates our research and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Visualization: Bring our research to life through clear, accessible, and impactful visual representations.
• Design for Communities: Work on projects involving communities with varying literacy levels, ensuring that communication materials are inclusive and easy to understand.
• Creative Collateral: Develop visually engaging and effective communication materials for a variety of projects, from reports and presentations to digital campaigns and event promotions.
• Adapt Design Styles: Ensure that designs align with different project needs, adapting to various visual languages and styles.
• Support Storytelling: Collaborate with our Communication Lead to ensure our storytelling is visually compelling across platforms.

Skills Required:

• Design Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Visual Storytelling: Ability to transform data and information into clear, impactful visuals.
• Time Management: Organized and able to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Adaptability: Flexibility in working across various design styles and visual languages.
• Team Player & Self-Starter: Able to work independently while collaborating with others.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with illustration and Procreate is a plus.
