Inviting applications for the role of Vice President - Security Engineering Leader Agentic AI

As Genpact continues its AI-First transformation, we are deploying autonomous Agentic AI solutions designed to orchestrate complex business workflows for some of the worlds largest enterprises. We are seeking a visionary Security Engineering Leader to define the security blueprint that safeguards these next generation autonomous systems.

In this role, you will not simply be checking boxesyou will architect the critical security guardrails that enable Genpacts autonomous agents to operate with speed, autonomy, and absolute safety. You will also lead a high-performing engineering team in India to build the Agentic Trust Layer, the foundational security framework that protects our clients most sensitive data and mission critical operations.

Responsibilities

1. Architect the Agentic Trust Layer

• Design and implement security frameworks for multi-agent systems.
• Focus on Model Context Protocol (MCP), agent toagent (A2A) authentication, and secure tool execution.

2. Autonomous Guardrails

• Develop realtime monitoring and action filtering systems.
• Intercept and evaluate agentic decisions to prevent unauthorized API calls or data exfiltration.

3. Adversarial Defense

• Lead advanced red teaming initiatives targeting:
• Goal Hijacking
• Memory Poisoning
• Prompt Injection
• Strengthen resilience within agentic workflows.

4. Identity & Access Management for Agents

• Define standards for AI agent identity lifecycle management.
• Implement short-lived credentials and fine-grained authorization (FGA) at both the document and tool levels.

5. Governance & Compliance

• Ensure alignment with emerging global standards, including:
• OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications (2026)
• EU AI Act compliance frameworks.

6. Thought Leadership

• Represent Genpacts AI security posture to Fortune 500 CISOs.
• Engage at global security and AI forums as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications We Seek in You

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience in Information Security, including leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in LLM Security and Handson experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGPT, Microsoft AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Strong background in Cloud-Native Security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Zero Trust Architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and Go, with practical experience securing execution environments (e.g., sandboxing, containerization).
• A builders mindsetyou enjoy writing code, designing systems, and creating practical security solutions rather than focusing solely on policy.
