Role: Vertex Functional Consultant (Oracle Integration)

We are looking for a skilled Vertex Functional Consultant to lead the tax determination, compliance, and integration of Vertex solutions with Oracle ERP platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate indirect tax calculation and seamless financial operations across global business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Configuration: Lead the functional design and configuration of Vertex tax solutions.
• Requirement Analysis: Translate complex business tax requirements into Vertex rules, mappings, and tax scenarios.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Oracle Finance, AR, AP, and Procurement teams to ensure end-to-end tax accuracy.
• Integration Support: Oversee OracleVertex integrations, including data mapping, tax call validation, and exception handling.
• Testing & Support: Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), reconciliation, and provide high-touch go-live support.
• Compliance Management: Monitor and implement ongoing tax compliance changes and statutory updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Tax Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of indirect taxation (Sales/Use Tax, VAT, etc.).
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Vertex tax configuration and logic.
• ERP Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of Oracle ERP Finance processes.
• Communication: Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams on complex integration topics.
