US Accountant

We are seeking talented accounting professionals with hands-on experience in US Accounting who are eager to build a long-term, rewarding career in the US accounting domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting fundamentals, high attention to detail, and a willingness to work with US clients and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Assist in developing tax-efficient strategies and solutions for clients to minimize tax liabilities.
• Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and maximizing
• tax benefits for clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and timely delivery of tax services.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and
• collections.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Candidate Requirements

• CPA, Chartered Accountant, or Semi-Qualified CA with a minimum of 3 years of articleship.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles, including finalisation of accounts, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the US Accounting and Taxation framework.
• Excellent analytical ability and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with accounting and tax software will be an added advantage.
