Position Overview

We areseekinga detail-oriented Transfer Pricing - Analyst tosupport transfer pricing compliance, operational transfer pricing, and documentation processes. The role involves data gathering, financial analysis, benchmarking support, and coordination with internal and client teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Financial Analysis

  • Collect, extract, validate, and organize financial, operational, and transactional data from client systems for transfer pricing analyses.
  • Ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of datasets used in TP documentation and reviews.
  • Review trial balances, general ledgers, and financial statements to identify and map intercompany transactions.
  • Perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and basic margin computations to support TP reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and client finance teams for data requests and clarifications.

2. Compliance & Documentation Support

  • Assist in preparation of transfer pricing documentation, TP disclosure forms (Local File support, working papers, and related schedules).
  • Support preparation of TP disclosure forms and compliance schedules as per jurisdictional requirements.
  • Prepare intercompany transaction summaries and reconciliation schedules.
  • Maintain organized working papers, version-controlled files, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Assist in gathering information for FAR (Functions, Assets, Risks) analysis.

3. Economic & Benchmarking Support

  • Assist in conducting preliminary database searches for comparable companies.
  • Extract financial data of comparables and compute relevant financial ratios.

4. Ad hoc advisory support

  • Assist in preparing decks and research work for the advisory engagements.

Qualifications and skills

  • Basic understanding of transfer pricing concepts including related-party transactions, arms length principle, and documentation requirements. Exposure to TP databases/tools (e.g., TP Catalyst, Orbis, Royalty Stat) is an advantage.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
