Job description for Trainee Surveillance Technical Officer

The Trainee Surveillance Technical Officer is responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of surveillance equipment used to monitor the casino's premises and activities. They will work under the guidance and supervision of the Surveillance Technical Officer and will learn the technical skills needed to maintain a secure and safe environment in the casino.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.

·         Perform routine inspections and maintenance of surveillance equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.

·         Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with surveillance equipment and recommend solutions to the Surveillance Technical Officer.

·         Assist in the implementation of security procedures to protect the casino's assets, personnel, and customers.

·         Monitor surveillance equipment to identify and report any suspicious or criminal activity to the Surveillance Technical Officer.

·         Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs and report any issues to the Surveillance Technical Officer.

·         Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of security and surveillance procedures.

·         Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure the safety and security of the casino's premises and activities.

·         Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour while interacting with customers and other casino employees.

·         Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as relevant legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Graduate or equivalent

·         Basic knowledge of surveillance equipment and technical troubleshooting skills.

·         Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
