Job Summary

As a Trade and Settlement Specialist within our Operations team, you will ensure seamless service delivery and timely settlement of ordinary shares and ADRs. You will utilize your knowledge of trade processing and Swift messages to enhance operational efficiency. Your role will involve understanding complex product structures and managing trade-related queries.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless service delivery and timely settlement of trades.
• Utilize knowledge of trade processing and settlements.
• Understand and apply Swift messages MT540, MT542, MT544, MT546, MT548, and MT599.
• Analyze complex product and process structures for trade delivery.
• Perform follow-up on failing trades with agents and brokers.
• Respond promptly to client queries and resolve issues.
• Identify and mitigate risks in processes, adhering to SOP controls.
• Maintain zero instances of SLA breaches.
• Adopt a proactive approach to problem-solving and issue escalation.
• Enhance team efficiency by 10% while maintaining quality standards.
• Participate in function rotation within the group.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Hold a graduate degree with a minimum of 5 years in trade and settlement experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Communicate effectively in written and oral English.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capabilities.
• Authenticate and authorize payment instructions in compliance with guidelines.
• Meet all relevant deadlines and control requirements.
• Provide accurate and complete MIS reports.
