We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

 In this role, you will:

  • Champion in Agile testing principles and practices in the team
  • Provide Quality and Testing related input during Inception phase
  • Collaborate with the team and be responsible for preventing defects. 
  • Propose test strategy options that address the quality needs of the product, and lead the team in modifying the testing strategy over the course of the project
  • Include in the test strategy, the testing scope of the project, responsibilities, environments required, testing approach, tools, testing schedule, reporting and resource requirements
  • Ensure test automation remains valuable as a feedback mechanism and guides team to optimize for speed, robustness, and coverage
  • Support the Product Owner and Business Analyst in the definition of acceptance criteria and refinement of scope
  • Learn about the product and provide this information to the rest of the team through collaboration
  • Collaborate with Developers to create acceptance tests on the basis of defined acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize test efforts, taking into account the operational and technical risks
  • Facilitate triaging of defects at appropriate frequency
  • Collaborate with the developers and Business Analyst to sign off user stories

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Should have 4+ years of experience
  • Must have experience in Test Automation tools like TOSCA, Selenium   
  • Good to have knowledge of Cloud Native technologies: Google Data Flow, Big Query, Cloud Service Provider platform(GCP) 
  • Good to have experience with Functional Testing (preferred experience in Regulatory relevant application e.g. FATCA and CRS) of Web based application, ETL testing   
  • Defect tracking and closure with all stake holders, should have experience in JIRA
  • Should be having very good written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile, or knowledge of the key principles of the methodology
  • Self-starter, who can work pro-actively with minimum supervision
