Summary: As a Test Automation Lead, you will lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve overseeing the testing process, collaborating with the team, and implementing automation strategies to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. - Implement quality processes, tools, and methodologies to improve control, accuracy, and integrity. - Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. - Oversee the testing process and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Collaborate with the team to develop and implement automation strategies. - Enhance testing efficiency and accuracy through automation. - Identify and resolve issues and challenges in the testing process. - Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in testing and automation. - Provide guidance and support to team members. - Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Test Management. - Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. - Experience in test automation frameworks and tools. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python. - Experience with continuous integration and delivery. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with performance testing tools. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies. - Experience with cloud-based testing platforms. - Recommendation: Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA or HP ALM. Collaborate with the project stakeholders, including project managers, and technical teams, to understand the testing requirements, and objectives. Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases aligned with the projects scope and objectives. Oversee the end-to-end testing process, including system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT). Coordinate with the project team to set up test environments, data, and configurations required for testing activities. Manage and lead the testing team, including Consultants, Key and End users, providing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the testing phases. Understanding of ERP implementations & of SAP and experience of SAP Functional Analyst role in Dev & Support for SAP Implementation. SAP testing including best practices for test documentation, test tools, and test approach. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Test Management. - This position is based in Mumbai. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
