Job Description

We are seeking dynamic sales professionals with 5 to 8 years of experience in channel sales, preferably from industries such as Automotive, Auto Ancillary, FMCG, FMCD, or Paints.


Sales Responsibilitys:

  • Business Counselling
  • Drive territory and site by site profitability and advise Dealer on necessary financial management and controls.
  • Drive accountability & Profitability of Mobility including (ALDS & SFS) Dealers by mandating the execution of planned activities
  • Advise Dealer on methods for maximizing sales and profits by reviewing business performance minimum on quarterly basis.
  • Advise Dealers of the application and benefits of TEMIPL Customer Value Proposition advise on introduction of new products WASH , SOLAR LAMPS and other Non-Fuel Retail businesses such as lube etc.
  • Replicate best practice sharing among Dealers to speed up commercial gain for TEMIPL and Dealers.
  • Act as a focal point to represent Dealers interests to TEMIPL in areas of infrastructure development as well as problem solving.
  • Manage Dealers replacement plan for underperforming ALDS &SFS Sites.
  • Support business aspiration of TEMIPL in accelerating growth of new site openings, lubricants, car wash and other non-fuel business.
  • Advise Dealers on customer service. Ensure that retailers are fully trained and knowledgeable of all standards and services as prescribed by TEMIPL.
  • Monitor compliance of Dealers to the agreed standards/services via quarterly assessments in the territory managers site review.
  • Advise Dealers of areas of non-compliance and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Manage the induction of new Dealers, including preparation of induction program, setting up of the business, ensuring the retailer is trained before start-up and ensuring that the business operates as per plan and on schedule.
  • Work with retailers to ensure zero stock-outs through an effective pre-plan of financial obligations.
  • Update records of all company assets and retailers information and conduct periodic verification of assets/other retailers information.
  • Ensure the Dealers keep his accounts within the agreed trading terms.
  • Ensure that the Dealers comply with the agreed operating hours.
  • Credit management plans to ensure reducing over dues and unused credit


Network Development: -

  • Network expansion: Identify and evaluate potential markets and business opportunities for new sites
  • Site acquisition: Source, assess, and onboard appropriate real estate locations that meet the company's strategic criteria.
  • Franchise development: Manage the channel partner selection process, identifying potential franchisees and evaluating their business acumen and financial suitability.
  • Financial analysis: Prepare robust business case proposals and run financial modeling to assess the viability and return on investment for new sites.
  • Market analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor expansion, and new developments to identify opportunities and track the health of the existing network.
  • Negotiation: Create and negotiate commercial agreements with franchisees and real estate owners.
  • Stakeholder management: Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, legal) and external parties (real estate agencies, government bodies) to ensure timely project execution.
  • Project management: Oversee the project from site identification to handover for construction, ensuring all activities are on track and aligned with company objectives.


Skills Required: -

  • Bachelors Degree Holder, Sales & Marketing is preferrable
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, site operation & Oil & Gas, FMCG, Consumer electronics, etc
  • Good administrative skills and preferably having site field experience
  • Able to build relationship and manage stakeholders
  • Commercial insight and basic skills in Microsoft office
  • Good writing skills and fluent in English & Tamil
