JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Purpose

The Temenos T24 Application Administrator (Infinity & Transact) is responsible for day-to-day application operations, administration, monitoring, and support of Temenos Transact (core banking) and Temenos Infinity (digital channels).

The role ensures application availability, performance, stability, and controlled deployments while working closely with business, delivery, and infrastructure teams.

This role owns the application layer, not infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

1. Application Administration (Primary Responsibility)

• Manage T24 Transact and Infinity application services
• Start / stop / restart application services safely
• Perform application-level regular maintenance
• Manage application system logins & roles
• Own application admin rights (not OS/DB admin)

2. Application Operations & Monitoring

• Monitor application health, response times, and availability
• Identify and resolve:
• Application not responding
• Slow response issues
• Service crashes
• Enable, analyze, and manage:
• Application logs
• Stack traces
• Debug / verbose logs (when required)
• Perform root cause analysis for application incidents

3. Infinity (Digital Channels) Responsibilities

• Own Infinity runtime services
• Monitor:
• API responsiveness
• Channel availability (mobile / web)
• Support Infinity configuration and deployments
• Coordinate with IIS / Web admin teams for:
• Web server availability
• SSL, ports, bindings (infra executes, app team validates)
• Validate Infinity integrations with Transact and middleware

4. Transact (Core Banking) Responsibilities

• Support T24 application runtime
• Monitor batch jobs, online processing, and background services
• Analyze Transact logs for:
• Posting failures
• Contract issues
• Interface errors
• Support COB / EOD execution from an application perspective
• Coordinate with functional teams for product-related failures

5. Deployment & Release Support

• Support new builds and releases
• Validate deployments in:
• SIT / UAT / PROD
• Perform:
• Application smoke testing
• Post-deployment verification
• Work with delivery team during releases and hotfixes

6. Business & Functional Coordination

• Work closely with:
• Business Operations
• Business Analysts (BA)
• Product Configuration teams
• Support production issues related to:
• Product behaviour
• Configuration impacts
• Provide application input during:
• New product rollouts
• Change requests

7. Incident, Problem & Change Management

• Act as L2/L3 application support
• Own application incidents end-to-end
• Participate in:
• Incident calls
• RCA preparation
• Problem management
• Ensure controlled changes aligned with CAB approvals

8. Temenos Fabric Responsibilities

• Administer and support Temenos Fabric components used by Infinity and Transact
• Monitor Fabric services, connectors, and runtime health

• Troubleshoot:
• API orchestration issues
• Integration failures between Infinity, Transact, and external systems
• Analyze Fabric logs for:
• Service timeouts
• Message failures
• Data mapping issues
• Support Fabric-related deployments and configuration changes
• Coordinate with middleware / integration teams when Fabric is used as the integration layer

9. PAM (Privileged Access Management) Application Ownership

• Own application-level PAM integration for Temenos:
• Transact
• Infinity
• Fabric components
• Define and validate:
• Privileged application roles
• Access flows for application services
• Work with security / IAM teams to:
• Integrate PAM with Temenos components
• Rotate credentials for application service accounts
• Validate PAM access during:
• COB execution
• Production support
• Emergency access scenarios
• Ensure PAM compliance for SAMA and internal audit
