Job Title: Technology Lead (.NET+AI)

Who You Are

We are seeking an innovative Lead .NET Developer to drive the integration of Artificial Intelligence into our core products. In this role, you will architect scalable .NET solutions while leading the implementation of Generative AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation. You will guide a team of engineers, bridging the gap between traditional software engineering and modern AI capabilities to deliver smarter, data-driven user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI-Driven Architecture & Development

• Design and implement AI-powered features using .NET 8+ , Azure OpenAI / OpenAI APIs , and Semantic Kernel .
• Build and maintain RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines to connect LLMs with proprietary company data.
• Integrate Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, Azure AI Search) for semantic search and efficient context retrieval.

2. Core .NET Engineering & Leadership

• Lead the technical design of microservices and distributed systems using C# and ASP.NET Core .
• Mentor senior and junior developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
• Make high-level architectural decisions regarding scalability, latency, and cost-optimization of AI API usage.

3. Cloud & DevOps (Azure/AWS)

• Deploy and manage AI models and applications on cloud platforms (preferably Azure AI Services ).
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure handling of API keys and sensitive data (governance & compliance).
• Optimize application performance, specifically managing the latency and throughput challenges associated with AI model inference.

4. Innovation & Strategy

• Act as the technical subject matter expert on AI trends (Agents, Copilots, Prompt Engineering).
• Collaborate with Product Managers to assess the feasibility of AI features (Proof of Concepts) vs. traditional logic.

Key Qualifications

Must-Have Technical Skills:

• Core Development: Mastery of C# , .NET Core / .NET 8 , and Web API.
• AI Integration: Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude), Prompt Engineering , and Semantic Kernel or LangChain (C# bindings).
• Data & AI: Familiarity with Vector Databases and Embeddings .
• Cloud: Strong experience with Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, App Services) or AWS Bedrock.
• Architecture: Experience with Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and REST/gRPC.

Required Experience:

• (8)+ years of total software engineering experience.
• (2)+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Architect capacity.
• Proven experience shipping at least one production application that utilizes AI/ML services (not just a hobby project).

Nice-to-Have:

• Basic proficiency in Python (often needed for data experimentation before moving to .NET).
• Knowledge of local LLMs (Llama 2/3, Ollama) and how to run them efficiently.
• Understanding of ML concepts (Regression, Classification) beyond just Generative AI.
