Technical Specialist

EDUCATION: Civil Diploma/ Graduate

Job Summary:

To ensure optimal quality standards, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction through efficient use of raw materials and mix designs at all plants in the Unit

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor, investigate and control batch exceptions with support from UBM
2. Meet architects and consultants to understand customer requirements and manage escalated customer complaints in quality
3. Assist in maintaining quality systems to continually monitor the product performance providing early warning of potential failures
4. Continually look at mix optimization and reduction in mix costs through trials on new or different raw materials and by any other method
5. Ensure compliance with all QA/QC protocols as per BOS.
6. Ensure that all raw materials used comply with relevant Indian Standards as well as Company norms for quality and quantity. Also endorse vendor qualification for all input raw materials
7. Carry out regular inspection and review of all technical records and documentation on the testing of incoming raw materials as well as concrete Assist Plant in-charge in day-to-day activities
8. Timely submission of reports to external and internal customers
9. Train necessary Company personnel in testing raw materials and concrete and on all aspects of quality control techniques
10. Ensure the health and safety of oneself, colleagues, vendor partners by complying with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations of occupational health and safety at work
