role is to support the incar mapping technology of the Street View fleet of vehicles in
several countries You will need to have the ability to analyze problems and return quick solutions to challenging issues Software Support Engineer will spend most of the time troubleshooting issues with our equipment connectivity by going through logs and testing our camera systems Connections and also spend time with engineers on root causing issues and testing possible solutions In addition they help
Responsibilities
Analyze daily failures and proactively partake in corrective action and engineering change strategies
Ensure software compatibility of newerupgraded hardware devices and for International configurations
Diagnose and resolve systems issues by telephone and remote log in
Support the iterative improvement of software reliability and uptime
Create shell scripts to make processes more efficient
Testing and debugging of new software releases prior to their deployment to the global fleet
