Role: Talent Acquisition - Sourcing

Position Title: Associate/Senior Associate

Reports To: Manager

Recruitment Levels: Across levels & Service Lines

Location: Across India

Experience: 2-5 years in talent sourcing, preferably within a professional services firm or fast-paced recruitment environment


Role Summary:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented sourcing professional to join our Talent Acquisition team at BDO India. As a Sourcer, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of high-quality candidates. This role will work closely with recruiters and hiring teams to ensure sourcing goals are met with speed and precision.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with recruiters to understand hiring needs and define sourcing strategies for active and future requirements
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, employee referrals, talent communities, and market mapping.
  • Design and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent across various functions and levels.
  • Maintain ownership of the sourcing process from identification through screening and handover to recruiters
  • Ensure timely delivery on open requisitions by meeting defined TATs and quality benchmarks
  • Build and manage candidate pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with stakeholders and ensure a seamless candidate experience
  • Maintain trackers and reports to reflect sourcing progress and pipeline strength
  • Support recruitment analytics by sharing sourcing metrics and insights with the broader TA team
  • Stay current with sourcing tools, techniques, and talent trends relevant to professional services
  • Perform additional sourcing-related tasks as assigned by reporting manager


Key Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of hands-on Sourcing/Talent Acquisition experience, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of sourcing strategies, market mapping, and assessment techniques.
  • Proficient in using recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, ATS systems).
  • Experience collaborating with sourcing teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
