The Software Engineer (Single Sign-On developer) will collaborate with other front-end and back-end web developers to support the design, development and improvement of our web and mobile web applications. This individual will be involved in the full development life cycle planning, code review, development, and operations/maintenance ensuring that all applications are optimized for various devices and accessibility needs while following all security and compliance regulations, guidelines, and governance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Azure AD B2C Implementation:
Design and configure Azure AD B2C tenants, including user flows, custom policies (Identity Experience Framework), and identity providers (social, enterprise, local accounts).
•    SSO Integration:
Implement SSO across various applications (web, mobile, API) using protocols like OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and SAML.
•    Custom Policy Development:
Develop and maintain custom policies using XML to define complex user journeys, integrate with external systems, and customize the user experience.
•    API Integration:
Integrate Azure AD B2C with backend APIs for user data management, profile updates, and custom authentication flows.
•    Security & Compliance:
Ensure solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, including data protection and privacy regulations.
•    Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to Azure AD B2C, SSO, and authentication flows.
•    Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions, including design specifications, configuration details, and troubleshooting guides.
•    Collaboration:
Work closely with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective identity solutions.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•    Expertise in Azure AD B2C:
In-depth knowledge of Azure AD B2C features, user flows, custom policies, and integration patterns.
•    Identity Protocols:
Strong understanding of identity protocols such as OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and SAML.
•    Development Languages:
Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, JavaScript, React, NextJS, Web API) and experience with web development frameworks.
•    Cloud Technologies:
Experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Monitor.
•    Security Best Practices:
Knowledge of security principles and best practices in identity and access management.
•    Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex identity-related issues.
•    Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
