Studio Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Manager/ Co-ordinator to join our animation studio. This role is key to ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest creative standards.

As the bridge between creative and operational teams, the Production Manager will oversee scheduling, resource planning, team coordination, and pipeline management across departments from pre-production to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and track detailed production schedules for animated films and series
• Coordinate across departments: storyboarding, design, modeling, animation, lighting, compositing, and post-production
• Manage internal teams and external vendors/freelancers to ensure timely delivery of assets
• Monitor daily progress, flag risks, and resolve bottlenecks
• Ensure proper workflow and pipeline adherence across all production phases
• Facilitate regular production meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Collaborate with directors, creative leads, and technical supervisors to support artistic and technical goals
• Track project budgets, approve timesheets, and manage resource allocation
• Maintain project documentation and production reports

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in production management or coordination in animation, VFX, or post-production
• Deep understanding of animation pipelines and workflows (2D and/or 3D)
• Proficient in production management tools like ShotGrid, or similar
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
• Calm under pressure, solution-driven, and highly proactive
• Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and reporting processes
• Background in film, animation, media production, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on long-form animation projects or feature films
• Knowledge of industry-standard creative software (Maya, Blender, Unreal, Adobe Suite, etc.)
