Store Designer

Frido is looking for a skilled (AutoCAD) & 3D designer with strong expertise in preparing detailed retail GFC drawings. The role will focus on adapting standard store designs for new locations, preparing accurate layouts, elevations, MEP coordinated drawings and RCPs, and ensuring all drawings align with SDR (Site Design Requirements) and site conditions.

Roles & Responsibilities: Conducting SDR of new stores. Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings including: -

Store layouts, Elevations, Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP)

Furniture & Retail fixture layouts o Elevation & Section details as required o Signages Details o 3D for Mall Approvals

Adapt Fridos standard store designs to suit new site conditions based on the SDR and internal design brief.

Extract and validate site measurements from SDRs, site surveys, and on-ground inputs. Coordinate with: Internal design, projects, external consultants and retail teams

External vendors, contractors, and mall authorities (as needed) Ensure drawings are: Accurate, dimensionally correct, and build-ready

Aligned with brand standards and design guidelines

Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner.

Maintain organized drawing records, version control, and documentation.

Support project teams during execution by providing clarifications and updated drawings.

Required Skills & Qualifications Degree / Diploma / ITI / Certification in Drafting, Architecture, or Interior Design.

2+ years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably in retail / commercial interiors.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).

Strong proficiency in 3D design Hands-on experience creating: Layouts, Elevations, RCPs Good understanding of: Retail store planning o Site measurements and SDR interpretation

Basic MEP coordination (lighting, HVAC cut-outs, etc.)

Ability to work with tight timelines and multiple store rollouts. Preferred (Good to Have) Experience in multi-store retail rollouts.

Basic knowledge of materials, finishes, and on-site execution practices. Exposure to mall or high-street retail formats & compliances
