SSD Validation Engineer

Location: Bengaluru

Experience: 5-8 years

Preferred Skills:

• SSD domain expertise.
• Expertise in SSD Firmware development or SSD Validation(EVT, DVT).
• High level competency in NVMe and/or PCIe specification.
• Programing Java/C++/C/Python
• Experience in SSD FW failure analysis. Root cause analysis is added advantage
• Knowledge of OCP, ZNS, MFND, SRIOV is added advantage

Advantage:

• Design and implementation knowledge of SSD Firmware.
• Knowledge of NAND policies
• Experience with SSD verification tools (NVMe CLI, Oakgate, LeCroy, Sanblaze)
• Linux Internals
• Automation hands on, Jenkins usage

Job Description:

1. Analysis of SSD requirements and preparation / update of Test specification (design)
2. Analysis of failures to confirm if it is Host, FW or Drive issue. Analysis to map failure to FW module level is added benefit
3. Test programming of cases in Java or C++ or Python
4. Clarification of NVMe or PCIe or any standard specification requirements with Architects/Developers if required
