Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience in Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and testing with a preference for experience in the Finance & Accounting domain. This hybrid role requires a detail-oriented individual who can contribute to our teams success and ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.Utilize Java and Selenium to automate test scripts and improve testing efficiency.Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not impacted by new changes.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and performance.Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on testing methodologies and best practices.Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance overall software quality.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in quality assurance and testing.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to software quality.Contribute to the overall success of the team by delivering high-quality software that meets customer expectations.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.Have experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.Demonstrate a solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies.Show experience in the Finance & Accounting domain is a plus.Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.Be adaptable and open to learning new technologies and tools.Show the ability to work in a hybrid work model effectively.Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.Have a strong understanding of regression testing and its importance.Exhibit the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.Show a commitment to continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
