Job Responsibilities: 

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in large-scale RHEL environments (thousands of servers), such as high CPU utilization, disk I/O bottlenecks, and network performance problems. 
• Implement kernel parameter adjustments, CPU isolation, and other tuning techniques to enhance system stability, security, and performance. 
• Manage Linux OS patching and upgrades using tools like Ansible and Red Hat Satellite to ensure system reliability and security. 
• Design, implement, and support high-availability solutions using clustering tools like Pacemaker and PCS. 
• Harden Linux operating systems, manage user accounts and permissions, and ensure compliance with security standards. 
• Monitor system performance, conduct SLA analysis, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing. 
• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux servers.
• Package Administration using RPM, YUM.
• User management, Creation, Deletion, managing user privileges.
• Managing partitions and file systems. Creating logical volumes using LVM.
• Securing and managing network with firewall & IP tables (basic)
• Validated knowledge in handling day-to-day LINUX operating system installation, migration and break-fix support
• Patching Linux version
• Managing Samba, ssh services.
