Sr SRE Infrastructure Operation - Pune

Work Experience: 7 to 12 years

• Exceptional skill in configuring, running, monitoring, and tuning Java applications running in an Apache/NGINX with Tomcat configuration, JBOSS, WebSphere, WebLogic, and JMX Console.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and SVN is required.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Good to have experience with one or more scripting languages such as Shell/Curl scripting.
• Exceptional skill with Linux/Unix bash command line.
• Demonstrable preference for approaching work via automation as a first choice.
• Good to have experience with monitoring tools like AppDynamics and ELK/Kibana.
• Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing log analysis, application performance management (APM), and real user monitoring (RUM).
• Experience providing hands-on monitoring as well as authoring monitoring and alerting using multiple toolsets.
• Proven ability to write effectively in English for a business audience.
• Exemplary practice in root cause analysis, documenting findings, and providing evidence.
• Experience in writing standard operating procedures and following them rigorously.
• Demonstrable experience with production operations issue management and response.
• Ability to collaborate with internal support and engineering teams as well as third-party vendors on problem-solving.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple issues to resolution.
• Capability to lead a technical team of peers toward issue resolution.
• Experience using issue/workflow ticket tracking systems.
• History of acting as a subject matter expert and training peers and stakeholders.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Systems Administration, or 5+ years of systems management experience in a professional production setting.
• Experience with deployment and release management.
• Self-motivated and collaborative.
• Good communication skills.
