Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer B2 with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement best practices for software development including agile methodologies and continuous integration.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the software systems.
  • Ensure security and compliance requirements are met in all software solutions.
  • Document software designs processes and procedures for future reference.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL.
  • Have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in developing scalable and robust applications.
  • Show experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Possess a solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
  • Show ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate experience in code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Have a strong understanding of database design and optimization.
  • Exhibit a commitment to producing high-quality maintainable code.
