Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Playwright Cypress and TypeScript. Experience in Program Management is a plus. This hybrid role offers a day shift with no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
  • Oversee the automation of test scripts using Playwright and Cypress to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Provide expertise in TypeScript to enhance the quality and maintainability of test scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Ensure that all software releases meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of testing processes and results.
  • Implement best practices for software testing and quality assurance.
  • Monitor and report on the status of testing activities and progress.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
  • Support the integration of testing activities into the overall software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in testing techniques and best practices.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Playwright Cypress and TypeScript.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality engineering.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Show proficiency in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have experience in Program Management (nice to have).
  • Display a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
  • Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Have a keen attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Show the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
