Sr Project Engineer - Zscaler (Cyber Security Analyst - L3)

At Wipro Technologies, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Lead specializing in Zscaler solutions to join our Technology Services team within the Infrastructure Security practice. This role demands hands-on management and optimization of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) technologies to safeguard enterprise networks and support secure digital transformation initiatives for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and manage Zscaler cloud security solutions, including ZIA and ZPA, tailored to enterprise network environments.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as network engineering, security, and operations to design, implement, and refine security policies.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution for complex technical issues affecting Zscaler platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal system performance.
• Conduct performance tuning and continuous monitoring to enhance digital security posture aligned with business objectives.
• Manage system updates, patching, and configuration changes while maintaining compliance with internal and external security standards.
• Support documentation efforts, including policy configurations, technical procedures, and best practice guides, fostering transparent knowledge sharing.

Experience and Technical Expertise Required:

• A minimum of 4-7 years overall experience in IT security domains, with at least 3-5 years focused on Zscaler technologies, particularly ZIA and ZPA.
• Deep hands-on experience managing Zscaler Internet Access and Private Access configurations, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Strong foundational knowledge of network and security concepts including TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewall administration, proxy servers, VPNs, and DNS.
• Proficiency in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting security and network infrastructure components related to cloud and enterprise security.
• Comprehensive understanding of zero-trust security models and their application to web access and private network safeguarding.
• Ability to perform systematic system updates, upgrade rollouts, and configuration management in enterprise environments.
• Experience resolving network and security incidents by applying analytical problem-solving methodology.
• Immediate availability is preferred for this role, which is based in Pune.
