Reporting To - Founder / Leadership Team

Role Overview

We are looking for a business leader to own and scale our marketplace and quick-commerce vertical across major marketplaces and leading quick-commerce platforms.

This is a full P&L leadership role that combines marketplace growth, performance marketing, operational excellence, and digital-led category development.

The mandate: build profitable, scalable growth across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & P&L Ownership

Own end-to-end marketplace & quick-commerce revenue and profitability

Drive topline growth with strong margin discipline

Lead pricing, discounting, and promotion strategy

Improve contribution margins and ad efficiency

2. Marketplace Strategy (All Platforms)

Define and execute platform-wise growth strategy

Drive visibility, ranking, share of search, and conversion

Lead performance marketing across marketplace ad ecosystems

Plan and execute platform events and seasonal campaigns

Monitor competition, pricing, and category dynamics

Optimize content, assortment, and portfolio mix by platform

3. Quick Commerce Growth

Build strong relationships with key account managers

Drive listing expansion, fill rates, and dark-store availability

Improve velocity and replenishment cycles

Ensure strong presence during platform campaigns

4. Product & Category Development

Identify assortment gaps and high-potential SKUs

Use platform data to influence new product development

Define hero SKUs and range architecture for online channels

Partner with sourcing, marketing, and supply chain for launches

5. Operations & Supply Alignment

Align demand forecasting with inventory planning

Improve sell-through and reduce stock-outs

Drive operational dashboards and performance tracking

6. Team & Systems

Build and lead a high-performance marketplace team

Create scalable reporting structures

Establish SOPs and performance metrics

Experience influencing product assortment and category growth

Strong commercial acumen: pricing, margins, ROI, contribution analysis

Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability

Comfortable in a fast-paced, founder-driven environment.
