Sr. Functional Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant local to Chennai, with experience in Navision/Business Central. This is a pivotal role responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and the technical implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Navision/Business Central. This role requires a deep understanding of the software and its capabilities, as well as strong business acumen to effectively tailor the solution to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements, including financial, supply chain, manufacturing, and other relevant processes.

2. Solution Design: Translate business requirements into functional specifications and design solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Navision /Business Central. Configure the system to align with client needs.

3. Implementation: Lead and participate in the implementation of Navision /Business Central solutions, including data migration, user training, and system testing.

4. Customization: Develop and recommend customizations, extensions, and integrations with third-party applications to enhance the functionality of Navision /Business Central.

5. User Training: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the system to optimize their daily operations.

6. Quality Assurance: Conduct system testing, identify and resolve issues, and ensure that the solution meets the client's business requirements.

7. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and best practices.

8. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their evolving business needs.

9. Upgrades and Updates: Stay updated on the latest features and updates of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Navision /Business Central and provide recommendations for system improvements.

10. Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise and insights with the team, assisting in the development of junior consultants and promoting best practices within the organization.
