SQL + Ms-Excel Expert - Data Analyst (3 to 5 yrs.)

As a Data Specialist, you will specialize in drawing meaningful interpretations from raw insurance-centric data. You will assist in the advancement of the industry with leading analytical skills and individual well-roundedness.

Responsibilities

• The purpose of this role is to assist various stakeholders by collating and effectively interpreting large sets of data based on business requirements.
• The individual will play an essential role in the success of these projects from the prospect of our insurance domain.
• Providing expert support in terms of extracting data using comprehensive SQL queries and different excel files.
• Simplifying and preparing datasets on SQL servers based on what is extracted.

Qualifications

• Recognized with masters degree in applied mathematics, statistics, economics, commerce or a related field.
• Must hold 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills

• Proficient understanding of SQL statements.
• Holds a substantial grasp with respect to reporting tools such as SSRS and/or Power BI, and programming languages like Python & R.
• Recognizes various concepts, jargons, products employed in underwriting and the insurance industry.
• Substantial knowledge of VBA and its functionalities.
• Competent in handling and resolving SQL queries.
• Proficient with MS Office particularly proficient with MS excel functionalities such as VLOOKUP, running pivots, etc.
