Special Educator

Proactive Child Development Center offers solutions for concerns related to a childs developmental milestones. Our center provides a wide range of services, including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Education, Autism Intervention, and Behavior Management Intervention. We specialize in therapies such as Play Therapy, Gross and Fine Motor Skill Training, Social Skill Training, Sensory Integration Therapy, and Neuro-Developmental Treatment. Additionally, we emphasize feeding therapy and actively encourage parental involvement with guided support as a key component of our approach.

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Special Educator based in Delhi, India. The Special Educator will design and execute individualized education plans tailored to meet the learning needs of children with diverse abilities. Responsibilities include working one-on-one and in group settings to teach children necessary academic, behavioral, and life skills in alignment with their developmental requirements. Collaborating with other therapists, teachers, and parents to track progress and adjust interventions is a critical aspect of this role. The role also requires fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.

• Understanding of Disabilities and experience working with children requiring Special Education
• Proficiency in Teaching methods suitable for individual and small group learning
• Experience working with children at the Middle School level is a plus
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other professionals
• Certifications or degrees in Special Education or related fields
• Empathy, adaptability, and a passion for fostering growth in children
• Experience with sensory integration and behavior management is an added advantage
