Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for sourcing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) at VIRUJ, located in Hyderabad. The role involves identifying and evaluating Intermediates/ Chemical suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure competitive pricing and quality standards, and ensuring timely procurement of materials. Maintaining a strong supplier network, monitoring market trends, and delivering cost-effective sourcing solutions are integral to the role. Additionally, the individual will collaborate closely with internal teams to meet project requirements and deadlines effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating supplier performance, cost analysis, and market trend research
• Excellent Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams
• Experience in Contract Negotiation and Procurement to secure efficient and cost-effective deals
• Knowledge of Recruiting processes is an added advantage
• Relevant industry experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
