Role: Solution Architect

Experience: 12-26 Years

Skills: Windchill and FlexPLM

This role will manage technical resources including service providers and software providers. The Technical Solution Architect will need to partner with business stakeholders on process harmonization and requirements, with the enterprise architects on solution alignment, and with our developers to deliver capabilities that are aligned with our business strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities

PLM Strategy & Design

• Develop and maintain the PLM solution architecture roadmap in alignment with business goals and industry best practices within CPG/Retail industries.
• Evaluate, select, and recommend PLM tools and technologies to meet the organizations needs (supply chain, quality and sustainability).
• Define PLM system standards, integration patterns, and governance models to ensure consistency and scalability.

Solution Implementation

• Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of PLM solutions (e.g., PTC Windchill, FlexPLM, Oracle Agile, Aras Innovator, PTC Creo, Solidworks and etc.) to support product development workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Ensure seamless integration of PLM systems with other enterprise systems, such as PIM, CAD, and MES.

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with product development, engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to streamline processes and workflows.
• Act as the subject matter expert for PLM solutions, providing technical guidance and thought leadership.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PLM system issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance PLM functionalities to improve user adoption and efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging PLM technologies and trends, recommending innovations that drive competitive advantage.
• Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to upskill team members and drive user engagement.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLM solution architecture, implementation, or related roles.
• Proven experience with leading PLM platforms such as PTC Windchill, PTC FlexPLM, Oracle Agile, Aras Innovator,CAD Management (PTC Creao, Solidworks and etc) or comparable systems.
• Proven experience working in a Consumer Product Goods/Retail Company.
