Job Position Solar Operation & Maintenance Engineer

Job Location: Site-based

Experience: 13 years

To ensure smooth operation, monitor performance, conduct preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot solar power plants for maximum efficiency and uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily operation and monitoring of solar power plant performance
• Regular cleaning of solar panels and maintaining cleanliness standards
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of:
• Solar modules
• Inverters
• ACDB / DCDB
• Cables and junction boxes
• Identifying faults and resolving breakdown issues at the site
• Monitoring generation data and reporting underperformance
• Maintaining O&M logbooks, site records, and daily reports
• Ensuring safety procedures and site discipline
• Coordinating with vendors, electricians, and internal teams when required
• Supporting warranty claims and component replacement activities

Skills & Requirements

• Diploma / ITI / BE / BTech (Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
• Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical components
• Ability to use testing tools (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester)
• Willingness to work on-site and at heights
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports, monitoring portals)
• Two-wheeler & driving license preferred
