JOB DESCRIPTION:

NCR is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Hospitality team in Hyderabad.

Our aim is to turn the everyday into a great consumer experience, turn the restaurant into a place where you’re being served quickly, get exactly what you ordered, get great service, be able to provide feedback, pay using mobile.

Our product portfolio is the most successful retail and restaurant solution available to the global market today. We are an agile development organization, practicing SCRUM and Kanban.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in core development and below stack
• Skills: SQL - Understanding of relational databases and working knowledge of SQL. ​   Able to write complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.
• Skillet -
• C#: Strong programming skills in C# for developing robust applications, ASP.NET MVC:
• SQL: Understanding of relational databases and working knowledge of SQL.
• Able to write complex queries, joins, and stored procedures. 
• Front-End Skills:
• CSS (including Flexbox & CSS Grid): Advanced knowledge of CSS for creating responsive and adaptive layouts.
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility, understanding of browser quirks.
• html/HTML5: Proficient in writing semantic, well-structured HTML.
• JavaScript & Front-End Libraries (optional but common):
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), including DOM manipulation, event handling, and AJAX.
• Experience with front-end libraries like jQuery.
• UI/UX Principles: Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and user interface (UI) design.
• Version Controllers: TFS, GitHub
• Process: SAFe/Agile Methodology
• Must have been an active participant in code reviews.
•  Excellent troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues is required.
•  Experience in troubleshooting software issues for end customers is preferred.
•  Should demonstrate skills to Analyze logs, verify, reproduce, and correct defects.
•  Work extensively with cross-functional development teams, including analysts, engineers, and QA.
•  Must be able to work in an agile, dynamic, varied, and fast paced environment.
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
