Your Role:

We are looking for a passionate Quality Assurance engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Software Engineer in Quality Assurance, you will work with the product and engineering teams at UrbanPiper to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. In this role, you will focus on developing and executing manual test cases for API and UI based applications. You will:

●      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and identify test scenarios.

●      Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering various functionalities of our software.

●      Conduct thorough testing across different platforms and browsers.

●      Conduct API and UI testing based on business requirements.

●      Participate in exploratory testing to identify potential usability issues.

●      Clearly document and report defects in our issue tracking system.

●      Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to resolve and verify defects.

●      Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and tools in automated testing.

We are looking for someone who has:

●      1-3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong foundation in manual testing and testing fundamentals.

●      Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

●      Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

●      Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS) and mobile platforms (Android, iOS).

●      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

●      Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

●      Attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Nice to have:

●      Experience in the restaurant industry or point-of-sale (POS) systems

●      Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python or JavaScript).

●      Experience with performance testing tool(e.g k6, jmeter, locust )

●      Experience with cloud-based testing tools.

●      Experience with mobile app testing.
