Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in Mumbai. In this role, the Social Media Manager will plan and execute social media marketing strategies, develop engaging content, optimize social media presence, and analyze performance metrics. Responsibilities also include managing social media platforms, coordinating campaigns to increase brand awareness, and effectively engaging with the online community to foster brand loyalty. Collaboration with other teams to align communication and content goals will be key aspects of this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute monthly content calendars aligned with product priorities, launches, and seasonal hooks while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Conceptualize and script reels, carousels, and UGC-style content that translates science-backed benefits into relatable, scroll-stopping narratives.
  • Work closely with designers, video editors, and the performance team to repurpose high-performing ads into organic content and optimize based on engagement data.
  • Stay updated with emerging social media trends, formats, and platform updates, proactively integrating relevant trends into the content strategy, and step in as a content creator when required including ideating, scripting, and filming relatable, brand-aligned content.
  • Track platform metrics such as engagement rate, saves, shares, watch time, and follower growth, and share actionable insights to improve content performance.


Requirements

  • 13 years of experience managing social media for a D2C brand (beauty, wellness, or lifestyle preferred).
  • Strong copywriting and short-form scripting skills.
  • Understanding of Instagram growth formats and trends.
  • Basic knowledge of performance marketing metrics and content optimization.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • This role is ideal for someone who is execution-strong, data-aware, and eager to grow with a fast-scaling wellness brand.
