The team includes experienced engineers and product designers with a strong track record of building and shipping consumer hardware products at scale. Project Mirage operates across San Francisco and Bangalore and is in an early, fast-moving phase of product and brand building.

Role Overview

Were looking for a creative, execution-focused Social Media Generalist to build and scale Project Mirages social presence from an early stage. This role is ideal for someone who understands consumer tech and hardware-led products, enjoys translating complex ideas into clear narratives, and can move quickly from concept to execution.

Youll work closely with design, hardware, and product teams to shape how Project Mirage shows up publicly across platforms, formats, and conversations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute social media across platforms including X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Discord
• Create engaging content around product development, design, hardware innovation, AI, and human-computer interaction
• Plan and execute social media calendars using a mix of formats (text, visuals, short-form video, threads)
• Run campaigns and growth experiments to build audience, engagement, and community
• Manage day-to-day posting, replies, and community interactions across social platforms and Discord
• Collaborate closely with design and video teams to ship content and iterate based on performance and engagement

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in social media, content, or brand marketing
• Experience with consumer tech, hardware, or technology-led brands (strongly preferred)
• Strong storytelling skills with good judgment for design, aesthetics, and product narratives
• Hands-on experience creating content - copy, visuals, short videos, reels, and threads
• Solid understanding of social platforms, formats, and distribution mechanics
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
• Ability to work from the Bangalore office (is a must)
