Job: SOC Design Verification Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience: 5-10 Years


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute SoC-level verification plans based on architecture and design specifications
  • Build UVM-based verification environments for full-chip and subsystem verification
  • Integrate and verify multiple IPs (CPU, interconnect, memory controllers, peripherals)
  • Write SystemVerilog testbenches, sequences, drivers, monitors, and scoreboards
  • Perform block-level, subsystem-level, and SoC-level verification
  • Run regressions, analyze failures, debug functional and protocol issues
  • Work closely with RTL designers, architecture, and post-silicon teams
  • Achieve coverage goals (functional and code coverage)


Required Skills

  • Strong experience in SystemVerilog & UVM
  • Hands-on experience with SoC / Subsystem Verification
  • Good understanding of:
  • AMBA protocols: AXI, AHB, APB
  • Cache coherency (ACE/CHI good to have)
  • Interrupts, clocks, resets, power domains
  • Experience with coverage-driven verification
  • Proficiency in debugging complex SoC-level issues
  • Scripting knowledge: Python / Perl / Shell (good to have)


Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

  • Experience with CPU-based verification (ARM/RISC-V)
  • Knowledge of low-power verification (UPF/CPF)
  • Experience with emulation or FPGA prototyping
  • Familiarity with Formal Verification


Education

  • BTech or MTech or equivalent experience in Electronics Engineering.
