Site Engineer / Architect (junior) Luxury homes

Job Description

• Assume responsibility of Architectural and Interior works in the project and certify on completion or each stage of the installation of the project.

• Ensure that the works are carried out as per the specification, approved construction drawing and method statement. And confirm that the works are properly inspected at the required stages as stated in ITP and/or as required and recorded accordingly

• Ensure compliance of construction detail documentation to best practices. Issue and administer non-conformance, corrective action reports as necessary and ensure follow up.

• Prepare and review as-built drawings. Plan and conduct minor modifications to complete detailed drawing sets in consonance with the project architect. Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken.

• Ensure verification of documentation and certificates for material purchased.

• Check and ensure that required tests are performed and verify its compliance against requirements. Confirm and witness the tests on a random basis.

• Coordinate with the architects and the project team, client and consultant to resolve QC related problems, if any.

• Obtain and verify quality records and maintain it in a traceable, easily retrievable and safe manner. Maintain a proper log for the records.

• Report quality-related matters to the Project Manager for taking necessary action and reports to Quality Manager for information.

• Preparation of quality-related documents like Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan, Method Statement, Check List and other forms.

• Report quality-related matters to the Project Architect/ Engineer for necessary action.

• Coordinate site quality inspections, material receiving inspections and reports to the concerned personnel/authority. Control and monitoring inspection and test requirements and data with respect to project specifications.

• Coordinate for material testing, follow-up for test reports from contractors and submit to the consultant.

• Prepare daily /weekly quality reports and submit to the consultant {if required) and Project Engineer for review and record.

• Implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System requirement adhering to execution plans and office procedures.

• Observing & inspecting site activities to assure a high standard of quality

• Resolve project issues balancing design sense and practicality

Qualifications

B.E.(Civil)/ Dipl (Civil) / B.Arch / Dipl (Arch)

Experience Required

5 years min experience in the field of execution of Architecture & Interior projects
