Job Description

Job Title: Signal/Power Integrity Engineer

Work Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 8 Years

Notice Period: Immediate (15 Days Max)


Required skill for the Job :

  • Proficient with pre and post layout simulation analysis using tools like ADS, HFSS 3D classic/3D layout, Hyperlynx SIPI
  • Proficient with PI tools like Sigrity, PowerSI etc
  • Good knowledge on the usage of layout Cadence Allegro tool and DRC checking tools like Hyperlynx DRC
  • Familiarity with PCB stack up design, best practices, trade-offs in line geometries, PCB materials & surface finishes, vendor capabilities & Mfg process.
  • Good understanding of reflection & terminations, crosstalk, channel modelling & serdes equalizations, Transmission line, PDN and Power AC concepts
  • Experience with common SI simulation models such as IBIS, IBIS-AMI, S-parameter, COM analysis, etc
  • Knowledge of interface standards such as DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR4, LPDDR5, PCIe Gen4/5, Ethernet etc


Basic Job Deliverable :

  • Contribute in SI/PI team that supports on next generation memory and high-speed cutting-edge technologies.
  • Responsible for delivering board level signal integrity solutions for large complex high-speed boards & packages
  • Take ownership on all aspects of signal and power integrity designs, flexible to support on multiple programs & assignments.
  • Ability to develop SI rules for new memory and high speed interfaces. Provide SIPI guidance to cross functional teams like HW and layout teams by preparing design guides & checklists.
  • Optimize design margins through interconnect, timing & xtalk analysis, 3D EM & channel simulations for high-speed designs.
